Visit Canada

Citizens of some countries and territories require a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) in order to enter Canada as visitors.

A visa cannot be applied for at a Canadian Port of Entry, and, in some cases, a medical examination may be required. This can add significant processing time to your application.

Citizens of certain countries do not need a TRV, but, as of November 10, 2016, most visa-exempt persons require an electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). The main exception is U.S. citizens, who require neither a TRV nor an eTA.

Common Questions

A real estate lawyer is required in the Province of Ontario when transferring any real property. However, the requirement does not take away from the need of representation when transferring property.

Real Estate Lawyers provide guidance throughout the purchase of your property. That is why it is crucial to obtain representation early on. This way you know you have someone on your side to help you navigate what may be one of the biggest purchases of your life.

Title insurance is not a legal requirement, however, it is often a lender requirement. Title insurance is a means of indemnifying homeowners and lenders from loss against fraud, misrepresentation, defective title and more. Due to the obvious benefits of title insurance, most lenders require homeowners to purchase title insurance along with the purchase of their home.
